TINDARRA COVID-19 POLICY

BUSINESS AS USUAL AT TINDARRA RESORT AND THE PRECAUTIONS WE ARE TAKING DUE TO COVID-19

Dear Guests,

At Tindarra Resort the health, wellbeing and pleasant experience of all our guests and visitors is as always, our highest priority.

We have been closely following the evolving COVID-19 situation and we wanted to update you on the measures and precautions that we are taking to help prevent the spread of this illness and to continue to offer a safe and pleasant stay at Tindarra Resort.

During this time, we want to let all our guests and clients know that we are still running Tindarra Resort as usual unless the governments dictate otherwise.

As well as following all advice from the health departments to ensure safety of our customers and staff we are also taking the following precautions, and urging all our visitors to do the same:

  1. Regular and thorough hand washing, for at least 20 seconds with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub.
  2. Covering our nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with a tissue or a flexed elbow.
  3. Making sure the Resort areas are regularly cleaned with disinfectants.
  4. Avoid shaking hands, hugging or kissing on the cheek. A smile and wave are ok.
  5. We would prefer to accept touch free payments like credit card tap or mobile payment rather than cash payments
  6. Placing signs and information throughout the resort to show best hygiene practices for all visitors

To be pro-active rather than reactive we have introduced a mandatory FOREHEAD THERMOMETER TEST DAILY FOR ALL STAFF AND GUESTS to ensure they don’t have a fever which is the number one symptom for COVID-19. This test is a touch free temperature check using an infrared forehead thermometer, it is non-invasive, and results will not be recorded. Whilst it is not a Coronavirus test, it will help identify signs of a fever, which based on current information we understand to be the number one symptom of COVID-19.

A TEMPERATURE READING OF 38 DEGREES OR ABOVE WILL RESULT IN STAFF ADVISING YOU TO SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE AND OBTAIN A MEDICAL CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE TO CERTIFY THAT YOU ARE SAFE TO ENTER THE RESORT AND MIX WITH STAFF AND OTHER GUESTS.

We recommend that all guests planning to travel to our Resort should test their temperature prior to commencing their trip, to minimise the potential of recording a high temperature when you arrive at Tindarra. These measures have been introduced to help ensure that any risk of infection to all visitors and staff is minimised in an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19. In the unfortunate and unlikely event that your booking at Tindarra should need to be cancelled, our normal cancellation policy will apply. Below is our cancellation policy:

“TINDARRA RESORT BOOKING CONFIRMATION & PAYMENT POLICY: The value of 1-night accommodation is payable as a holding deposit when making a reservation. This will be deducted from the credit card nominated at the time of booking within 1-2 business days. The remaining balance of the accommodation is due upon check in. Cancellations of bookings are as per our cancellation policy. Any cancellations of bookings are subject to the following conditions: 1. Cancellation of a booking must be received by Tindarra Resort in writing either via post or email. Action will be taken depending on the date the cancellation is received. 2. Any cancellation of a booking received up to 30 days prior to the booking arrival date will be subject to a full refund of holding deposit minus an administration charge equal to 10% of deposit held. 3. Any cancellation of a booking received between 30 days and 14 days prior to the booking arrival date will be subject to a full refund of holding deposit minus an administration charge equal to 25% of deposit held. 4. Any cancellation of a booking received within 14 days prior to the booking arrival date will forfeit 100% of deposit held.”

Tindarra Resort management have implemented these policies after reviewing current information available and advised best practice. We are doing everything in our control to ensure that we can provide as safe and enjoyable experience as possible to all of our visitors. As the current situation is changing on a daily basis, we will continue to advise you of any changes to policies and procedures as they are updated. This information will also be available on our website and social media platforms.

We ask our valued guests and clients to continue to work with us and speak to us directly about any issues or concerns that they may have. Your feedback is always appreciated and at this time, we encourage open communication so that we can all look after each other in an effort to make your experience with Tindarra Resort a safe and enjoyable one.

Assuring you of our best intentions, please contact management if you have any queries.

Please stay safe.
